SMS Policy

JobPrepX enables users to manage one-to-one, employment-related communications using a dedicated virtual phone number. Acceptable uses include job application follow-ups, interview scheduling, and replies to recruiter or hiring-manager outreach.

The virtual phone number is an optional paid add-on for signed-in JobPrepX subscribers. To activate one, a subscriber enters their own mobile phone number and then checks a box — unchecked by default — on the same form, reading:

“I agree to receive SMS text messages and calls from JobPrepX (Pinnacle Creations, LLC) at the mobile number above and through my JobPrepX virtual number, for job-search communication with employers and recruiters, account notifications, and one-time verification codes. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.”

The number is provisioned only after the box is checked. We record the mobile number, the exact consent text, and the date, time and IP address of the opt-in. Recipients that a subscriber then messages are already part of an existing or expected employment-related conversation with that subscriber (for example, a recruiter who has a candidate's application, or a candidate replying to an interview invitation), and can reply STOP at any time.

No mobile information, including text-messaging opt-in data and consent, is shared with third parties or affiliates, and it is never sold or used for marketing or promotional purposes.

The virtual phone number feature may not be used for:

• Bulk or mass messaging;
• Purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists;
• Automated marketing or promotional messages;
• Spam, fraud, or harassment; or
• Outreach unrelated to an employment conversation.

Message frequency varies based on user activity and the recipient's employment-related conversation with the JobPrepX user. Message and data rates may apply, as charged by the recipient's wireless carrier.

A recipient may reply STOP at any time to opt out of future SMS messages from a JobPrepX virtual phone number. Reply START to resubscribe, or HELP for assistance.
